Because personality/character express all of the person.

Actually, I hope that can get along with good looking guy as possible.
But, I don't aim too high so much.
●have a lot in common
I think this is very important same as personality.
If having same hobby or a lot in common, the relationship become more better.
●background
When I get marry, partner's family also important same as partner.
If the family don't get along with him, it's so hard for me.
●Japanese
I long to do international marriage a little, but it isn't easy.
So, if anything, I want to marry the Japanese whom a way of thinking and sense of values fit me.

I was surprised at the "background" in particular.
You don't care "looks" not so much. I also think common point is important.
You are important lots of common. It is important for me too!
I agree with your ideas. I think personality is important,too. Also, having a lot in common is necessaly. One thing that I've found that interesting is you care about the background since I've never thought about it. I think it's important as well.
